Get your jiggin’ shoes on folks, and raise a penny or two for MS!
Marden Residents’ Association and the Border Terrier Pub have donated thousands of pounds to the North Tyneside Branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. This money has helped sufferers in our region to have some ease in their daily lives. Can you help us by coming along and having a great night?
Why not join us at 7pm on Saturday 1st November 2014 at the Marden Resident’s Community Centre and enjoy a Big Ceilidh Dance Evening (spookyness optional). There will be brilliant music from the Cuddystone Band, with a caller to explain those entertaining dances – plus a fabulous display from the captivating Inchigeelagh O’Gorman Academy of Irish Dance. Take part in the excellent raffle or bid a few bob for a bargain in the auction. Also, on top of all that, savour a taste of Irish stew and meet a super Irish Guest.
This is the second Ceilidh in a series of bi-annual events designed to bring a touch of Celtic entertainment to North Tyneside.
Tickets are £5 (£3 concessions) and are available from me, Francis McSherry, on 07446 151 950 or 0191 258 7101 or from Marden Residents’ Association, Bavington Gardens, Marden Estate, North Shields NE30 3QD, telephone 0191 290 0201.
