LOCAL INTEREST: Peter Mortimer to speak at Annual General Meeting

April 1, 2015

TVA LOGOThe local author, Peter Mortimer, will again be the speaker at Tynemouth Village Association’s AGM. This will be held at Holy Saviour’s Parish Centre (a room adjacent to the church, NE30 2LD), on Monday 20th April at 7pm.

Peter has been chosen as the speaker for a second time, as he proved so popular the last time he was invited. This year he will be talking mainly about the story behind the stage play, “Death at Dawn”. This is a true story based on the experience of a local North Shields man. Peter will also speak about his latest play, and bring copies of his latest book.

All are welcome, including non-members. We look forward to seeing you.

Tynemouth Village Association is a Civic society which seeks to enhance and conserve the character of the Conservation Area. We are involved in everything from planning and licencing matters, to tree planting and environmental issues, and we are always looking for new members to support our work.

You can find out more about us at our website tynemouthvillage.org.uk, or email the chairman, Nigel Bryant at nigel@npb1.co.uk.
