Thank you to all of the readers who have taken the trouble to contact us in recent weeks to comment on the redesign of the magazines we introduced in January.
I’m glad to say that the feedback we’ve received has been overwhelmingly positive which makes all of the effort worthwhile, though thanks are also due to local graphic designer Neill Burrough of Digitized Design who worked so hard for us on the new layouts.
A number of readers commented that the community pages are now much more clear and easy to read, so may I suggest that you have a glance through them when you have a quiet moment. We really do have a wide range of groups and activities on offer – and this month we’ve added bellringing to the list – so if you have some spare time, are looking for a new hobby or interest or are just new to the area and want to meet some like-minded folk then those pages are the place to look!
If you run a group yourself, or are thinking of starting one, why not get in touch? As long as it’s run on a not-for-profit basis, the entries on our community pages are free of charge.
You’ll also find the same information on our website along with details of all of our advertisers and our local articles. I was amazed to discover that the website has visitors from all over the world – the last time I looked our articles were being viewed by readers from Poland and Canada, amongst others.
We always welcome feedback on the articles we publish, or indeed on any aspect of the magazine (irrespective of where in the world you are!), so if you have any comments then do please get in touch – call us on 0191 253 7608 or send an email to info@roundaboutpublications.co.uk.
