Christmas in the Dome

November 29, 2011

Sunday 4th December sees the Spanish City Dome open to all for a fabulous ‘Christmas Fayre’, between 11am and 3pm. The event has been organised by Whitley Bay Chamber of Trade in association with North Tyneside Council and Spanish City developers Robertson, and promises seasonal fun for all the family.

As well as a Santa’s grotto with presents for children, the interior of the Dome will be decorated with festive artwork provided by local schools. To add to the seasonal theme, there will also be music and entertainment from local groups and food sales and tasters from local restaurants and shops. Plus, it’s an excellent opportunity for residents to have a look around the iconic Dome!

The event will also showcase the diversity of businesses and services available in Whitley Bay, with many retailers having stalls displaying a wide selection of products, with prices to suit all pockets. Whitley Bay is noteworthy for its range of independent shops, and you may well be surprised at the variety on offer, whether you are looking for gifts for friends and family (including pets!), decorating your home or table, buying top quality produce for your Christmas feast or need that special outfit for a party.

This will be the first fayre of what is intended to become an annual event, so don’t miss it – bring all the family for a great day out in Whitley Bay! More information is available on Facebook at www.facebook.com/christmasfayre or on Twitter at @whitleybaycot. ■
