About Roundabout Publications

Since we started out in 2005, our Roundabout Monkseaton magazine has been extremely successful at connecting local businesses with local customers – thus verifying the assertion that “local services are preferred by the majority of the UK population” is true in our area. The same is true of our second magazine, Roundabout Tynemouth, which was launched in February 2009 and now our third, Roundabout Whitley Bay, launched in 2018.

Advertisers appear month after month because the magazine works and generates business for them.

See what some of them say:

“The magazine has only been out for two weeks and I have already had work worth over three
times the cost of my advertising and have seven quotes to get back yet. Your magazine is great
for my business.”
Joe Embleton, Up A Height … And Down To Earth

“We are very pleased with the results of our advertising with you, which has been highly
successful. In particular, our Summer Sizzler campaign generated almost three times the
response we expected, with new customers noting that they had seen the advert in the
Roundabout.”
Dean Titterton, Chief Executive Officer, YMCA North Tyneside

“Just to let you know how successful St. Andrew’s Fair was last Saturday – we raised a record
amount of £3,960! We all felt the large colour advertisement in Roundabout Monkseaton proved invaluable and helped to increase the number of people who attended. Many thanks for your help.”
Ann Hammond, St Andrew’s United Reformed Church

We firmly believe our pricing offers incredible value, particularly considering the high quality of production, and we know that readers keep their magazine as a reference for the whole month – this has been confirmed by our advertisers.

Format & Design

The magazines are high quality A5 size booklets using full colour print paper. Content is a mix of quality topical articles which includes local contributors, puzzles, recipes, and details of community groups and local events. We believe this content is crucial to the appeal of
the magazine, increasing its readability and hence the impact of advertising.
