Welcome to November’s magazine, and a particular warm welcome to those of you who are receiving the magazine for the very first time – we’ve been able to extend our distribution area so we hope our new readers enjoy our articles, puzzles and local information, and find the products and services provided by our advertisers useful.
A glance at our community diary (see here) will show that there are a number of local events taking place this month to keep you entertained – St Peter’s Players are presenting ‘The White Cliffs’ from 22nd – 24th November, Tynemouth Choral Society are performing Handel’s ‘Messiah’ on 24th November and Tynemouth Scouts Gang Show is taking place at the Playhouse in Whitley Bay from 27th November – 1st December. Looking forward to the early next month, there will be another Christmas Fayre at the Spanish City Dome in Whitley Bay on 2nd December. This was an excellent event last year which my family and I really enjoyed, so we will certainly be going again – and it’s another chance to have a look around an iconic local landmark.
Don’t forget, if you are a member of a local and not-for-profit community group you can promote it free of charge on our community pages, whether it’s an event for our diary page or a group meeting regularly. Just call or send an email (contact information below) to give us the details. You’ll also find that all of these groups and events are listed on this website – groups here and events here.
We always like to hear from our readers, so if you have any comments then do please get in touch – call us on 0191 253 7608 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
